frequent questions

How do I get started?

Reach out via our contact page, phone (0400 293 597) or email (joineryaspectstasmania@gmail.com) to book your consultation. Bring your ideas, site measurements or photos, and we’ll work with you to create a solution.

What if I want to install it myself (flat-pack) vs have you install?

We provide a flexible solution: you can choose flat-pack or pre-assembled units to install yourself, or we can handle full manufacture and installation. That way you can select the option that suits your budget, timeline and skill set.

Can you work on commercial projects as well as residential?

Yes – we cater for commercial joinery including hotels, bars, restaurants, exhibition spaces, reception areas and offices. We offer bespoke solutions for businesses as well as homes.

What is the typical lead time from order to installation?

Lead times vary depending on the complexity of the project, size of joinery, custom finishes and installation requirements. After the design and quote are approved, we’ll provide a timeline specific to your job. It’s best to ask for a timeline when you request a quote.

Do you offer show-room viewings or examples of completed work?

Absolutely. We pride ourselves on being problem-solvers who can either seamlessly blend with existing décor or create a distinctive one-off piece that becomes a feature in its own right.

Can you match existing décor or create something completely custom?

Absolutely. We pride ourselves on being problem-solvers who can either seamlessly blend with existing décor or create a distinctive one-off piece that becomes a feature in its own right.

How does the process work from first consultation to installation?

Here’s a typical process:

  1. Initial consultation: we talk about the space, your needs, style, budget.
  2. Design stage: we create joinery design(s) tailored to your space and usage.
  3. Manufacture/fabrication: our team builds the joinery to spec.
  4. Installation: we install onsite (or arrange pre-assembled/flat-pack delivery) and ensure fit, finish, functionality.

Aron's Tip: It helps to have measurements or an existing floor plan before the consultation to speed things up.
